About me…
The best photos show children and young people feeling happy and relaxed. With 22 years’ experience teaching in Norfolk primary schools, including seven as a headteacher, I understand how to put pupils at their ease and let their true colours shine.
How it works…
I visit the school at the school’s convenience, preferably twice, the second day to do sibling groups and catch anyone who was absent the previous visit.
Each pupil gets a chance to pose several times, some formal, others more relaxed. Each pupil gets a code to take home at the end of the day, which parents/guardians can use to access a secure online gallery containing only their child’s photos. They can then choose and buy prints and/or digital files for delivery to their school or home. The galleries are available within 24 hours.
For candid shots for promotional use, I take joyful photos of quality learning experiences, performances, pupils totally engrossed in their learning. All images are provided at both print and web resolution, within a day of the shoot.
What’s in it for the school…?
Completely hassle free. All purchases made online, so there is no money or envelopes to handle. Usually around three out of four families make a purchase. You receive 20% of the profit. That’s extra funding for your school with no cost, no risk, and little or no additional work for your office. A typical return for a primary school is in the region of £400. All photos provided digitally to the school for their MIS. Additional 5% if referral is made to another school…
